European Commission targets logistics firms

European logistics operators Panalpina, Kuehne+Nagel and a French subsidiary of DSV have received statements of objections from the European Commission over allegations of uncompetitive behaviour in the freight forwarding industry.

A statement of objections enables named companies to respond to Brussels’ preliminary findings over a possible violation of European competition law.

It does not prejudge the final decision, which is subject to appeal to the European courts.
