ITF backs local union opposition to MSIC changes
The International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) has entered the Australian port security debate claiming Federal Government changes to the Maritime Security Identification Card scheme are misguided and lack focus.
Federal transport minister Anthony Albanese said last month that the government intended to tighten regulations for users and issuers of the card.
